EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM, practical and compact zoom lens, ideal for resume without any problems of subject, while traveling and in other situations. This lens provides the best optical performance in its class and the ability to focus at a minimum distance of 45 cm over the entire zoom range. The USM micromotor allows autofocusing quick and quiet, while the high magnification capability makes it easy and enjoyable at any step. It ‘also have a second version in which the AF is driven by a DC motor instead of USM.
This zoom lens has a magnification of 7x. The use of a replica aspherical lens element in the 4th and an aspherical lens element in the 14th GMo achieves high picture quality throughout the zoom range and compact design. The inner focusing system to two groups reaches a minimum focusing distance of 0.45 m. The drive of the micro USM makes autofocusing quick and quiet. Operability with accessories is also enhanced by the presence of non-rotating front lens.

Although this is not a bad lens, I would not recommend it unless you are comfortable with its limitations. If you need the huge zoom range, this does a decent job, but I am going to be returning this product. |
